| Here's an old piece. A photo of a cat, mixed with a drawing of a scene, then digitally altered with an effect called Glowing Edges. | |

| Thank you, LD ^^ It may be an old file, but I still enjoy seeing it. If only "Glowing Edges" would turn out cool stuff like this more often! hehe | |

| Well, the funny thing is... this was so long ago I've been trying to remember what the drawing was actually like. haha! I don't even know if I would have the original anymore. (digital or otherwise) I'd have to dig around to see what I could find. But this piece has gotten so much attention, I may just see what I can find. And thanks, jealous? It's quite a fancy sig! haha! At some point I'll put a real signature up. Just haven't had time yet. LOVE your avatar! It looks great against the gray background. | |

| Found it! It turns out it was not, in fact, a drawing. It was made digitally. I had forgotten that. My bad. LOL Here's the original! | |

| You're welcome, Randy! Actually, thank you for mentioning it because it was fun for me to see the original again too! Not only that, but I found a few more pockets of older files it would be fun to share here at the lily pad once I get more time. So its a win/win. And you're so right about digital editing. But a drawback is getting WAY spoiled by it hehe! ("What do you mean, 'there's no Undo button on a pen'?!??") | |

| Oh trust me I do! LOL!
I've spent the past decade (or so) learning my way around the digital tools. I've become so spoiled by it that I've gotten really rusty at what I call "real art". (Not to say that digital works aren't art, but you know what I mean lol)
Your description is perfect. That's it exactly. LOL! Many times I do ink lines in graphic pieces. When I screw up a line, there's no choice but to completely re-do the whole thing. It's scary! haha! But I'm going to try to get back to my roots and get back in practice with "real art". ^.^ (Though I do appreciate greatly what digital art has done for my creativity.)
Mr. shakespeare was right. I agree! | |
